Happy Tuesday! If you follow along on Instagram, you may have realized that I had a heck of a week (and by that I mean busy AF). It was definitely one for the books and was worth the sleep deprivation.
I mentioned a couple of weeks back that I had some exciting news in the works (selfishly, it's exciting for me, not necessarily everyone else) -- no, I'm not pregnant -- let's just get that out of the way now. But I am officially retiring my suburban lifestyle and heading back to the city! If that means nothing to you, it's fine, but around here, we are super giddy.
Today, I'm sharing what will likely be the last photos of our humble abode before we move. Bitter sweetness all around.
Hello. It's me. I know, it's been a while. A really long while. Like 2+ months long while. You may or may not have even noticed, but I've thought about how long its been every day for the last 2+ months.
Have you ever felt like life is just moving at the literal speed of light and you're running as fast as you can to keep up, but you're out of breath, hot, and just know that the finish line everyone was talking about was all a fallacy? Asking for a friend.
I used to hate candles. Okay, before you throw stones, let me say that I just didn't really care for them and I didn't appreciate their magic. I have since grown up into a functioning adult and I am proud to say that I am a normal candle obsessive human being.
Happy New Year! Looking back, 2016 was a good year. I took some time to look back on some of the highlights and wanted to share them with you. Looking back makes me so excited to see what 2017 has in store. I'm hopeful for more travel, more living in the moment, more spontaneity and more love.
