Long Live The Choker Featuring Kubitees

It’s been a while, I know. But when I tell you that life has been happening, I mean it. The good news is, I have a lot of awesome things planned for the blog this year, and I’m really excited to share them with you. Moving on.

Can yall do me a favor, please? Don't ever let the choker trend die. That's all. It's simple.

I feel like I've waited for the choker's reemergence since it exited in the 90s. And now that it's back and has been here a while, I'm really nervous that someone is going to pull the plug soon. And I'm not ready. That said, I feel like if we come together a rebel against the death of the choker, all will be well in the world.

As you might imagine, I have a whole little collection started, and they have quickly become apart of my daily uniform. I have managed to collect quite a few in several colors, but I must say that none are as fun as the ones I received from Kubitees.

Kubitees is a small fashion business working to bridge the cultural divide one fashion sell at a time. They make the cutest Ankara print chokers and dashikis, and I am absolutely in love with their decorative prints and tees. The designs truly transcend across cultures and super fashionable.

The chokers are handmade with such clear attention to detail. I never considered blue my color, but I must say that the patterned one is definitely a new favorite and will likely be on heavy rotation.

Good news for all of you! Kubitees has graciously given my readers 20% off of anything in their shop. Simply use the code “AQUIA’ to save on your favorite item. If it were up to me, I’d definitely get this print. I’ve been eyeing it to add to my home office that is currently under construction.

Definitely check them out and let me know what you get!
